Sea at Night

The oil painting above was the result of a view from the back of the ship as we sailed back from Santander. Part of the reason for our visit was to see the Guggenheim at Bilbao (long before lockdown about 20 years ago).


The new version on the right was an attempt to represent the same theme in thread on canvas. This was thread and pastel on another of the leftover 10 x 16 canvases
